With the end of the year 2021, new goals and objectives for 2022 are approaching. With the last months of 2021 just around the corner, the Instituto Cervantes has published all the dates for the DELE exam 2022 for all levels.
For 2022, the Cervantes Institute has published 7 official dates on which we will be able to sit the DELE exam and obtain the diploma that certifies that we have a certain level of proficiency in the Spanish language.
As in previous years, the DELE exam is not open to all levels. Depending on the level you wish to sit the exam, you will have to take into account the exam session for the level you wish to obtain.
Dates for the DELE exam 2022 A1
We start with the dates for the dele exam 2022 A1 exam. If our intention is to take the DELE A1 exam in 2022, we have several dates for this beginner level of Spanish. For 2022 we will have 3 dates to obtain the DELE A1 diploma in Spanish. The dates for 2022 are April, May and November. Dates for the DELE exam 2022 A2
For the basic level of Spanish, the Instituto Cervantes has published that in all of its exams it is possible to take the exam to obtain the DELE A2 certificate of Spanish. This exam is in great demand because in order to obtain Spanish nationality we will have to accredit at least this level of Spanish. In the following image we have all the available dates for 2022 to take the DELE A2 exam.
Dates for the DELE exam 2022 B1
The B1 level of Spanish is an intermediate level of Spanish. For 2022, the Instituto Cervantes has published 5 available dates to take the DELE B1 level of Spanish. The dates for the DELE exam 2022 B1 are: April, May, July, October and November. In the following image I show you all the dates to take the DELE B1 exam in 2022.
Dates 2022 for DELE B2 exams
We start with the dates for the DELE exam 2022 for the B2. To obtain the official DELE B2 Spanish certification, we have up to 5 open calls in 2022. The DELE B2 exam dates are: April, May, July, July, October and November. See in the following image all the dates to take the DELE B2 exam in 2022.
DELE C1 exam dates 2022
We reach a more advanced level of Spanish. The DELE C1 level of Spanish will have 4 dates to take the DELE C1 exam of Spanish in order to obtain the official certification of the Instituto Cervantes. DELE C2 exam dates 2022
We have reached the highest level of Spanish proficiency. The DELE C2 Spanish exam will have 2 exam sessions in 2022. The exam dates for 2022 are in May and November. In the image you can see the 2 dates for the 2022 dele exam for level C2.
DELE 2022 registration deadlines
For 2022, the Instituto Cervantes has published up to 7 exam dates. The publication of the DELE 2022 exam dates was accompanied by all the necessary information for registration.
The registration period to apply for any call and level is open from 10 November 2021. From this date, we can already register for the level we want to take in 2022. It is important to remember that, depending on the date we are going to register, we have a maximum period to complete the whole registration process for the DELE test.
Where to register for the DELE exam 2022
To register for a DELE exam, there are two options for registration.
- Online, through the Instituto Cervantes website.
- If you are taking the DELE exam at an examination centre outside Spain, you can register at the centre you have chosen to take the DELE exam.
Where can we take the DELE exam in 2022?
To take the DELE exam, we have at our disposal more than 1000 accredited centres all over the world to take the DELE exam. Not all DELE examination centres hold all the exams published by the Instituto Cervantes, so it is advisable to find out the dates for the DELE exam 2022 of the level you are taking and the place where you are going to sit the exam to check if your exam date is available. Consult the official examination centres in more than 100 countries.
Registration fee for the DELE exam
The registration fee for the DELE exam may vary depending on the country or the centre where you take the exam. I recommend that you check the price of your chosen Spanish diploma at the official Spanish examination centre of your choice.
Preparing for the DELE test
In order to prepare for the DELE test, it is advisable to prepare for several months before the test.
